Field buses
Plug and Play
The drive controller is provided with field bus compatibility by simply plugging in the communications module. This delivers benefits such as:
- simple project engineering based on one control concept for all power classes
- flexible choice of bus system
- time and cost saving e. g. in maintenance and stockholding
Which modules are availbale to choose from?
- CM-DPV1 (PROFIBUS-DPV1 with DPV1 PROFIDRIVE profile)
- CM-CAN2 (CANopen CiA/DS301 with device profile CiA/DS402)
- CM-CAN1 (CANLust CiA/DS102 with device profile DRIVECOM)
Module performance data:
- fast processing cycles, control channel < 2 ms, parameter channel < 10 ms
- user-friendly bus address assignment (rotary code switch, address plug, software parameters)
- separate 24 V supply, so the bus node remains active in the event of a device failure
- standardized 9-pin D-SUB connector
