Be sure to follow the power-up sequence of the hardware and software enable routines as well as the time sequence of the control bits when enabling the power stage.The Quick-Stop is low-active, and must be set before the start command.The correct sequence is:

1. Set Safe Stop

2. Set ENPO

3. Wait until ENPO bit in status word = 1

4. Then set the Quick-Stop bit

5. Wait until bit 1 - Ready to switch on - in status word = 1

6. Then set the Start Control bit
