Development of the first frequency inverter as well as of the first collectorless DC drive for high speed applications and start of the series production

1975

Erection and move into the first company headquarters (500 m²) in Lahnau-Waldgirmes

1978

Development of the first frequency inverter for line voltage operation

1981

Start of the series production of the first standard frequency inverter series for 0.75 kW to 4 kW

A sales network in Germany and Europe is built up progressively

1982

Moving in of the new company headquarters with 2,400 m² of production and office space

1986

The first fully digital inverter

1989

Extension of the company headquarters to 4,800 m²

A frequency inverter range 250 W  to 9 kW is now available

Product developments are intensified through research cooperations

1993

Foundation of the sister company  Lust Hybrid-Technik GmbH in Hermsdorf / Thuringia

Lust is awarded the "Hessischer Innovationspreis" for the development of a magneto-resistive sensor for isolated current measuring

Presentation of the digital servo drive system MasterDrive

1996

Completion of the product field servo systems through the servo controller MC 7000

1998

Extension of the system competence for motor and magnetic bearing components through new developments and foundation of what is today Levitec GmbH

Foundation of a sales subsidiary LUST-Tec in Switzerland

1999

Launch of the inverter series CDA 3000, with that a uniform software and hardware platform for the power range 0.75 kW to 90 kW is available for the first time

2000

With Dr. Wolfgang Lust, the second generation enters the management board

Foundation of  Sensitec GmbH in Wetzlar

 Lust Hybrid-Technik GmbH moves into the new company building with 1,600 m²

2001

Launch of the servo product range CDD 3000 from 1.5 A to 180 A

2002

Extension of the servo competence and power range through takeover of what is now DriveTronics GmbH in Unna

2003

Administration R & D and sales of Sensitec GmbH and Levitec GmbH move into their new company building in Lahnau with 2,000 m²

The new logistic centre for Lust Antriebstechnik GmbH is ready

Foundation of naomi technologies AG in July, 15th, controlled by federal state Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany naomi technologies AG emerged a former production facility of IBM to keep forward-looking know-how of magneto resistive technologies and high qualified work force located at Mainz

2004

Since January 2004 naomi technologies AG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sensitec GmbH, Germany and thus inherent part of the LUST group

2005

naomi technologies AG is renamed Sensitec Naomi GmbH

Erection and move into the new company building of Lust DriveTronics GmbH (4,000 m²) in Unna

2006

Total area of production and office facilities > 25,000 m²

Total sales > 80 million euro

Group workforce > 550

2007

Work on a new building close to the LTi REEnergy building in Unna

Based on the advancing internationalisation the LUST group of companies changes its corporate name from LUST to LTi; LTi stands for Lust Technology international. In an initial step Lust DriveTronics GmbH is renamed in LTi REEnergy GmbH as of September 1, 2007

2008

With effective from January 1, 2008 Lust Antriebstechnik GmbH is renamed as LTi DRiVES GmbH.

2009

Foundation of LTi ELECTRONiCS as Electronic Manufacturing Service Provider for the complete know-how in the field of layout and logistics

Expansion of the segment drive engineering by acquiring andron GmbH in Wasserburg/Bodensee (High End CNC-control units for machine tools)

Sale of the electric pitch controls area in wind energy plants to Moog Inc.

On September 9, Mr. Karl-Heinz Lust, the founder of LTi, Sensitec and Levitec, passed away at the age of 63
