Commitment in associations
LTi Company Group works closely with local Chambers of Industry and Commerce. Mr. Karl-Heinz Lust was Honorary President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Lahn-Dill.
The companies of the LTi Group are active in various work groups within the ZVEI Zentralverband der Elektrotechnik und Elektroindustrie e.V. (central association of the electrical and electronical industry).
The ZVEI protects the interests of its 1,500 member companies in the electrical and electronic industry in economical, technological and environmental matters. The association ensures a target-oriented exchange of experience among these companies which are all competitors and reports regularly on changes in the economical, technical and legal general conditions for the electrical industry.
The members support these tasks not only through their membership fees but also through the honorary commitment of 5,000 honorary members who work in boards, trade associations and regional offices of the ZVEI.
Karl-Heinz Lust was member of the board and chairman of the trade association Drive Engineering. He was also member of the board of the trade association Automation.
On Sept. 28, 2011, Mr. Dr. Wolfgang Lust was elected as Chairman of the Hessian regional office of the ZVEI.
Some of the LTi companies are also members of the VDMA (Association of the German mechanical engineering and plant engineering companies). Karl-Heinz Lust was member of the executive committee for microsystem technology.
The VDMA provides services such as market information, legal and contractual advice, a comprehensive and practically oriented range of trainings and seminars as well as workshops.In the field optimization and rationalization in production the Managing Director of LTi ELECTRONiCS Eberhard Schmauch is active in the work group Economical Production of the RKW (board of trustees of rationalization of the German economy).
This work group has existed for 17 years. The goal is to use modern technologies in order to achieve a high quality level, large flexibility and to take innovative actions.The work group provides exchange of experience and transfer of know-how.
Besides these activities the companies of the LTi Group are active in various other panels of the drive engineering, microsystem technology and sensor technology.
